The perfect pink colouring of lamb displayed finesse in the cooking department; I thought the jus that accompanied the meal was gorgeous also.

Desserts for B and I are on occasional affair; we favour a nice dessert wine or Grandfather Port. Tempted by our waitress on this occasion to try something, we agreed on the Flavours of Italy.

This little smorgasbord of treats saw Tiramisu, Zuppa Inglese, Panna Cotta and two types of Gelato on show. The hazelnut and orange gelato was a favourite but the Panna Cotta reined supreme.

Perhaps we should get on board this dessert stuff more often! B and I very much enjoyed our date night, and a special mention goes to the hospitable Cucina Vivo family for making it so.

Sometimes I wonder which is better? Cucina Vivo was the latter but with an apparent turnaround of nearly people on any given day, I understand somethings have to give.

Being a local Gold Coast girl I have now put Cucina Vivo on my radar. The photos of the newly renovated restaurant look fabulous.

I had no idea how it had changed. I cannot wait to try the Tortillini Ripieni or the Gnocchi, or the Lamb Rack or the dessert.

I had bolognese which was massive yet very average no different to homemade. I will recommend the garlic focaccia pizza as Never been more disappointed to pay extra for a gluten free pizza in my life!

So so disappointing. The waiter even commented on the size of the pizza when putting it down apologizing about the size difference compared to my sisters.

I smiled and said it was ok so as not to make a fuss at the table. I now regret not saying anything, complaining about it or taking a photo because it was really unacceptable.

I am very used to GF options and the fact they will be different than the regular menu item but this was just very very unjust. There is some really amazing gluten free bases available if restaurants take the time to source or create them.

Will definitely stick to Balboa Italian in palm beach for their amazing GF pizzas. Darryl served us and I was honestly astounded by his incredible services, the food is absolutely superb and I felt so well taken care of.

Could not recommend this restaurant more. Will definitely be returning soon More. Stuck on the Gold Coast in between travel destinations at the moment.
